Mr. Hartman, a former resident of the Sunnyside section had moved to Pennsylvania in 1920 and had been engaged in farming near that community his health failed him.
A faithful member of the Church of the Brethren, Mr. Hartman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Kursey [Kersey] Hartman whom he married on December 14, 1901. A son of George H. and Elizabeth Berry [Beery] Hartman, he also leaves the following children: Mrs. Perry Liskey, Alfred K., Hensel Webb, Hershul [Hershel] Hartman and Mrs. Bruce Stark.
One daughter, Mrs. Lyle Beam [Beahm] preceded him in death a number of years ago.
Besides his wife and children, he also leaves one brother, Joe Hartman of Washington, and two sisters, Miss Florence Hartman, of Washington, and Mrs. Charlie Coffman, of Pennsylvania. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death also.
