Hencil W. Hartman, 76, of 136 Sheridan Ave., Annville, died Sunday, July 1, 1989, at home. He was the husband of Thelma Kalbach Hartman, to whom he would have been married 58 years in October. Born in Harrisonburg, Va., to the late Benjamin and Rosa Kersey Hartman, he was a retired employee of Hershey Foods. He was a member of Annville Church of the Brethren and the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday school, and served as former chairman of the Remembrance Committee of the church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Robert Hartman and James Hartman. both of Lebanon, and Michael: at home; daughters Janet, wife of Frederick Grun, Annville and Carol, wife of Roy Kreider, Cleona; a brother Hershel Hartman, Palmyra; sisters Edith, wife the Rev. Perry Liskey, Myerstown and Lillian Stark, Palmyra; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Hartman, and a sister, Nina Behm.
