Pauline W. Hartman, 63, wife of Hershel B. Hartman, 1017 E. Main St., Palmyra, died Friday in Hershey Medical Center. She was admitted to the hospital Thursday with pneumonia.

Born in the Sand Beach area of Dauphin County, a daughter of the late Luther N. and Cathryn Keller Weaver, she was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. She was a former member of the church choir and former treasurer of the women's fellowship at the church.

She and her husband operated Hartman's Transmission garage next to their home.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, Robin L. and Bradley C. Hartman, both of Palmyra; daughters Elaine, wife of James H. Burns, Hershey, and Linda, wife of David R. Smith, Palmyra' 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles E. Weaver, Palmyra; a sister, Erma, wife of James Hott, Palmyra; and a half-sister, Pearl, wife of Christian R. Long, Palmyra RD 2.
