Roy, formerly of Wertzville Road, passed away Monday at his daughter's residence.
He was the son of the late Christian and Sarah Grace (Shughart) Spangler and the widower of Naomi N. Spangler.
Roy was a member of Young's United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg and a lifelong Cumberland County farmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Lena S. Waltimyer, Jeanne C. Spangler and Carolyn R. Jacobs; two sons, George I. Spangler and Galen R. Spangler; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
