Carolynn F.Monroe, 63, of Winchester, passed away Wednesday morning October 24, 2007, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
She was born January 3, 1944 in Winchester to Cecil and Catherine (Alexander)Wood. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed needlepoint. She attended Pilgrim Nazarene Church in Winchester.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Price of Winchester and Ruth Deal of Union City, Ohio; a son, Bill (Sharon) Hines of Union City; one brother, Larry Wood (friend Laura) of Winchester; 10 sisters, Linda (Dick) Yount of Union City, Jackie Henry of Greenville, Ohio, Vicki (Robert) Blansett of Winchester, Betty (Don) Aukerman, Greenville, Ohio, Susan (Charles) Young of Bruceville, Nancy (Junior) Osborn of Portland, a twin sisters, Marilyn (friend Jerry) Hale, Lucille Hummer of Portland, Joyce (Gene) Lee of Union City, Ind., and Margaret (Corbett) Ashley of Avilla; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her first husband, Robert Hines.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Nazarene Church, east of Winchester, with Rev. Don Bates officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, is in charge of arrangements.
