Mrs. Catherine E. Woods, 67 died early Monday, Nov. 17, 1980 at the Union City Memorial Hospital, following and extended illness.
Mrs. Wood was born March 1, 1920 in Delaware County, daughter of Charles F. and Alda Coryell Alexander of Winchester.
She made her home in the Ridgeville area the past 35 years.
Surviving in addition to the parents are the husband, Cecil D. Wood; 11 daughters, Mrs. Corbett (Margaret Ashley, Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Osborne of Portland, Mrs. James (Lucille) Hummer of Pennville, Mrs. Marilyn Hale of Salamonia, Mrs. Richard (Linda) Yount, Mrs. Vickie Lovell of Saratoga, Mrs. Gene (Joyce) Lee, Mrs. Lonnie (Jacqueline) Hunley, both of Union City, Mrs. Leon (Betty) Rogers of Greenville, and Mrs. Susan Reynolds of Stuart, Fla. ; one son, Larry Woods of Saratoga; 40 grandchildren
and seven great-grand-children; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rust, Mrs. Edith Gardner, both of Winchester and Mrs. Louisa Jones of Milhousen; two brothers, James Alexander
of Winchester and William Alexander of Eureka, Calif.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Middleton Mortuary, Ridgeville, with the Rev. Al Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Lawndale Cemetery, near Ridgeville.
Friends may call at mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday.
