William Albert Tipton, 83, formerly of Antioch Community and resident of Andalusia, died Thursday evening in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.W. Lundy officiating. Burial will be in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include six daughters; Mrs. A.C. Polson and Mrs. Charles Raley, both of Andalusia, Mrs. Lambert Burtett, Florala, Ala, Mrs. C.E. Bracewell of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Jack Allman of St. Petersburg, Fla, Mrs. William Patterson of Atlanta, Ga.; one step-daughter, Mrs. J.W. Talbott of Pensacola, Fla; one brother, Emmett J. Tipton of Rt.2, Andalusia; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Hinton and Don Raley, Wade and Wayland Adams, Vona Polson and Dieter E. Jager
