Hi Donna,
Loved that you had so much information on Loyal Louise Bowers Vaughn. Do you happen to know anyone over in that area who is working on the Vaughn family genealogy? My grandmother was a Vaughn and I have been trying to find some of her relatives for years. Louise Vaughn would have been my grandmother's sister-in-law. Would greatly appreciate any help you may give me.

Thanks Donna. I will add information to Nancy's memorial. I have to say that the early data from LDS used to seem a lot more reliable than some of it does in recent times.
It is my supposition that it could be an error in the birth year made by the tombstone carver-they made an error by transposing the initials on my gggm's tombstone but her family couldn't afford to pay to have another one made and shipped to them. In those days, you paid your money up front, but you were stuck with the results (which arrived later by railroad) even when the carver was the one that made the error.
