Clinton P Eakins, of Blandburg, died of a heart attack on Jan 7, 1970 in Coalport, to where he and Mrs Eakins had moved to a hotel on Tuesday. He was born March 6, 1894, in Roseland, son of Thadeus and Jane (Fleming) Eakins. He was twice married, first to Mildred Taylor, who died Nov 28, 1955, then to Neva Brown. Surviving are his wife, a brother and two sisters: Austin, Mrs Florence Irwin, and Mrs Lillie Gallagher. He was an Army vetreran of World War I and was employed by Harbison Walker of Blandburg. Friends will be received at the Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow. (
