David served in the Spanish American War. He was the Dean of the Veterinary Medicine at George Washington University. From 1915-1940 he was the White house vet. 25 years and many Presidents.
On 6 Dec 1897 David married Roberta Randall.

2. David Randall, 1903-1990
3. Donald, 1905-1997
4. Richard Gilpin, 1914-1992
