Florence's father was the David Eastburn Buckingham who won the Congressional Medal of Honor and is buried here.

David & Sarah (Van Trump) Buckingham had 4 children, (Mignonette, David Jr, Sarah & Florence). After the children were born the family moved to Washington D.C. where David worked at the Government Pension Office.
