Her growing family was active in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Trinity downtown, where Ralph was a deacon from 1922 to 1934, as well as an appointed member of the committee to redecorate the interior of the church auditorium, which was completed from 1925 to December 1926.
Ralph and Jane had three daughters, Regina Salome, Mary Magdalene, and Rebecca Estella. The names chosen represent family connections. Jane's sister was Rejina while her mother was Mary M. Ossman. Mary's name may also have been chosen because Mary was her father's mother's name, while Magdalena had been her father's mother's sister, that is, his aunt. Rebecca was a sister of her husband Ralph, and Estella was the middle name of another of his sisters, Clara Estella.
Rebecca served as secretary for the Sunday School Association, while Regina was a teacher in the Intermediate Department.
Ralph passed away in 1935, the same year as his elder brother Daniel, though they were not close in age. Jane continued living in Norristown the remainder of her life with the care of her daughters, especially Mary who also stayed locally.
