Death of Mrs. Elzie Reeves

Clara May Crandall, was born at Hull, Sioux county, Iowa, on September 5th, 1895, and came to Sanborn county, South Dakota, with parents in 1900. She was married to Elzie Reeves on Nov. 18th, 1913 and resided on a farm west of Carthage until her death, which occurred September 2, 1916, of anema, aged 20 years, 11 months and 27 days. There are left to mourn her a husband, father, mother, five sisters and two brothers. The sisters are: Mrs. Lela Gould, Mrs. Lorena Deming, Mrs. Elbra Tompkins, of Fairview, Montana; Mrs. Louie Van Dusen, of Armour; and the brothers Leslie and Arthur of the home farm. The funeral services were held from the home Sunday and interment was in the Carthage cemetery.

We wish to express our sincere thanks for the kindness shown us by the neighbors during the illness and death of our beloved daughter; and wish also to especially thank the singers and friends who came out from Carthage.
