Mrs. Margaret Reissig, 73, widow of the late Henry Ressig, Sr., died this morning at her home, 478 Bauer street, Hammond, after a long illness.
Surviving are a son, Henry O. Reissig, Jr., of Hammond, three daughters, Mrs. Alvin G. Mummery, of Hobart, Mrs. Gustav G. Lau, of Chicago, and Mrs. Charles H. Mayer, Jr., of Calumet City, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ganser, of Chicago. There are nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reissig came to Hammond 30 years ago from Hobart. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Plans have not been completed for the funeral which will be conducted by Undertaker Neidow.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Reissig, 73, who passed away Monday morning at her home, 478 Bauer st., Hammond, will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home and at 2 o'clock from St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. E. W. Sonstroem will officiate and burial will be in Hobart cemetery.
Through an error yesterday it was stated that Mrs. Reissig was the widow of Henry Reissig, Sr. Mr. Reissig is still living and there are three daughters, Mrs. Alvin P. Mummery of Hobart, Mrs. Gustav F. Lau of Chicago, and Mrs. Charles H. Mayer, Jr., of Calumet City, and a son, Henry O. Reissig, Jr., of Hammond. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ganser of Chicago, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
