"JACQUES~ T. Jacques, 82 years old, died yesterday morning at his home on Piatt avenue, after an illness of five weeks. He has been a Wichita resident for many years and is survived by six sons and three daughters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Brethren church, corner of Eleventh street and St. Francis, Rev. Frantz will have charge of the services. After 1:30 Thursday friends may view the body at the Flannagan-Bourman undertaking parlors. Mr. Jacques was the father of the members of the Jacques orchestra."

"JACQUES ~ Funeral services for T. Jacques, who died yesterday, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Brethren Church, Eleventh and St. Francis. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Mr. Jacques is survived by his [wife], six sons, Wilber A., Frank M., Fred C., Theophilus E., George L., and Arthur E. Jacques, and three daughters, Mrs. Ella Elliott, Mrs. Belle McDill and Mrs. Efie Wilhite. He is also survived by one brother, Fred Jacques, of Kansas City. The body will lie in state at the parlors of the Flanagan and Bourman Undertaking Company until 1:30 p.m., Thursday. Mr. Jacques had lived in Kansas since 1858 and had been a resident of Wichita since 1890."
Preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Jan. 28, 1914), and daughter, Lillian U. Mercer (Sep. 3, 1903)."
