"FUNERAL OF WILBER A. JACQUES ~ Funeral service for Wilber A. Jacques was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 1948 in the First National chapel with Rev. A.T. Law officiating. Interment was in the Woodlawn cemetery, Texarkana, Tex., at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept 13. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic lodge of Texarkana.
Mr. Jacques, 87, a former merchant of Pineville, died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, after an extended illess. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Lackey Jacques of 408 Sanders street, Pineville; three sons and three daughters, two sons who are Charles W. of Ferriday, and Wilbur D. of Texarkana, Tex."
