She was the daughter of Nicholas and Anna/Ann Doran McGinnis.

Alice's siblings (2): Sarah Ann Maloney (1855-1902) and Bridget M 'Biddie' Bowers (1858-1945).

Alice's half siblings via her father's second marriage (4): Thomas Patrick (1868-1935); Clara Combs (1871-1932); Frank Nicholas (1873-1929) and George Barlett - never married (1876-1899).

Alice married Thomas McCune on May 31, 1877 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

They had one child: Sarah 'Sadie' Kiesel (1878-1919). Sadie was 5 years old when her father died in February 1884.

After her husband Thomas, died Alice took Sadie to Vicksburg, Mississippi to visit her sister, Sarah Ann, and her husband, John Maloney. At the time Vicksburg was quarantined (while they were there)). Alice and her daughter, Sadie, stayed longer than they had intended.

Alice's father died at her house in Indianapolis in 1903.

Alice died at Little Sisters of the Poor at the age of 82 years 9 months 4 days. The cemetery only has Alice on its records - except the plot book: there are 2 +'s along with the name of Alice. The +'s would be for Alice's husband and her mother.
