Obituary.
Nathaniel Acheson was born in Gurnsey (sic) county (sic), Ohio, May 13, 1841. He moved with his parents to Iowa in 1861 and was married to Nancy A. Gentry in 1864. To this union eight children were born, one dying in infancy. Mr. Acheson moved with his family to Kansas in 1887 settling near Palco in Rooks county (sic), where later years he united with the Christian church. He departed this life September 3, 1916 near Talmo, Kansas, where he has resided for the last two years. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his departure.
