Janie Beavers was the daughter of Silas James Arthur Beavers of Alabama and Rosa Ann Pearson of Mississippi. It is believed that Janie was born in Mississippi. She was only 17 years of age when she died. Janie's parents, one sister and a brother are also buried at McGlasson Cemetery.
