Nancy (Nancie/Nannie) Ann Beavers Patterson was the daughter of Silas James Arthur Beavers and Rosa Ann Pearson Beavers. Her gravemarker has her last name as Beavers. On her death certificate she is Mrs. Nannie Patterson. Lamar County, Texas marriage records do show a marriage between Cicero Patterson and N. A. Beavers on February 10, 1902. Cicero was married to Nancie's sister, Mary Samantha. She died in 1895 leaving Cicero with five young children to care for. Nancie, her brother and her mother were living in the Patterson home at the time of the marriage, most likely helping with child care.
