Charles Marion Alspaugh, 57, a resident of Lima for 18 years, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence, 515 N. Jefferson-st, after an illness of seven months.

Alspaugh, a carpenter, is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edward Robey and Mrs. Charles Fleming, both of Lima, Mrs. Albert Robey of Columbus and Mrs. Henry Snyder of Lafayette; two sons, Harry of 752 Holly-st and Charles at home; five sisters, Mrs. Ellen Bowers and Mrs. Myrtle Phillips, both of Lima; Mrs. Margaret Corderman of Dayton; Mrs. Grace Ford of Delphos and Mrs. Gertrude Oberly of Los Angeles; two brothers, William of Canada and Joseph of Findlay; and seven grandchildren.

The body will remain at the Cantwell funeral home were services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Rev. L. H. Myers, former pastor of the High Street United Brethren church, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery.
