Hays -- Wendelin Dreher, 91, died Dec. 13 at Hays Medical Center in Hays. He was born July 15, 1912, at Gorham, the son of Jerome and Pauline Rupp Dreher.
He married Mary Ubert Aug. 18, 1936, at Hays.
A resident of Hays, he was an oilfield pumper. Dreher was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Hays.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Marvin Dreher of Great Bend; one daughter, Charlotte Phillips of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Ray Dreher of Seattle, Wash., and Celly "Joe" Dreher of Topeka; two sisters, Mildred Schumacher of Hays and Ella Beilman of Wichita; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin Dreher, Julie Dreher and Elmer Dreher; and one sister, Amelia Schenk.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays. Friends may call from 9 to 9:30 a.m. today at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hays.
