Anna was born June 24, 1843 (some sources list the date as August 28th, 1843) in Davos, Graubunden, Switzerland and died September 9, 1890 at the age of 47 in Sumpter, Sauk County, Wisconsin.

She was the daughter of Andreas (1802-1878) and Maria Prader (1807-1850) Kindschi..

Anna was the first wife of Erhard Accola. They were married March 14, 1867.

Anna and Erhardt were the parents of Andrew; Jacob; Mary; Ursula; Erhart L; George C;Anna K; John Henry; Heinrich W; Lidia; and Dora B.

The house in which Anna Kindschi was born still stands (1950?) near Davos, and is owned by the sister of a second cousin, Paul Fridli and another family. Across the front is a decorative moulding listing the names of all the Kindschi children.

Anna was killed when she was thrown from a buggy by a runaway horse.
