Calvin L. Troxell, a well-known, retired grocer of 409 Lotz Ave., Lakemont, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home. Mr. Troxell was born in Glasgow May 6, 1872, the son of Alexander and Matilda (Gates) Troxell and married Mertha (Mulhollem) Troxell. Surviving are his wife, the following children; Levi and Melvin of Cresson, Louis and Charlton of Lakemont, Catherine at home, Alma of Oil City, Mrs. Mary Ratchford of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Audrey Cox of Tyrone; 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters; Frank of Fallentimber, C. Jay of Glasgow, Clarence of Johnstown, Mrs. Mina Gibson of Flinton. and Mrs. Nancy Thomas of Blandburg. Mr. and Mrs. Troxell would have celebrated their 54th anniversary July 31. He was member of the Lakemont Methodist church for many years and the Men's Bible class of that church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock
