The daughter of William C. Nutt (1811-1857) and Desdemona Ann Newberry (1817-1884), she married Abner Hammond Langford in Marion County, Georgia, on 8 October 1857. He was the son of Joseph A. Langford (1807–1884) and Elizabeth Herring (1810–1870), who are also buried in this cemetery. Their children were Napolean Bonaparte Langford (1858–1924), Azariah Milton Langford (1860–1928), Ophelia Langford (1860–1860), Caroline I. C. Langford (Moreland) (1866–), Elizabeth Langford (Gilbert) (1868–), and Mattie B. Langford (Townsend) (1871–1964). [Biographical information provided by Ron Wade.
