Mrs. Jessie Mae Covington, 81, Athens, died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Covington was retired from ConAgra Co.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Douglas Smith of Salem, Joyce Patterson of Woodridge, IL, and Elizabeth Ann Watts Powell of Elkmont; two brothers, Wilburn Knowles of Lincoln Park, MI, and Franklin Knowles of Athens; a sister, Onie Matthews of Athens; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
