A funeral for Mrs. Carrie Knowles, 80, of Route 8, Athens, was Saturday at the Oneal Church of Christ with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Knowles died Thursday in the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Paul Covington, Mrs. Leo Covington and Mrs. Everett Matthews, all of Athens; two sons, Ordway Knowles of Athens and Wilburn Knowles of Detroit, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
