WIFE FOLLOWS HER HUSBAND TO GRAVE
Mrs. Sarah Weldon died at her home in this city Tuesday night after having been in poor health for some time. Her husband died on March 23rd. The remains were taken to Potter valley for interment and the funeral services were held at the M. E. Church south in that city yesterday, Rev. J. E. Moore of this city preaching the funeral sermon. The deceased had resided in Potter valley for many years and had moved to Ukiah some years ago with her husband.
Five sons and six daughters survive her—Mrs. Laura Lierly, Mrs. Addie Spottswood, Mrs. Clara Adams, Mrs. James Eddie, Mrs. Wiley Pickle, Mrs. Jake Wattenberger, Homer, Russel and Henry Spencer of Potter and Ira of Foresthill and Dr. William Spencer of Portland. The deceased was a very estimable woman and leaves many friends to join the family in the sorrow of her loss.
