W.C. Byrd Residing Many Years At Binghamtown Died Wednesday

W.C. Byrd, a pioneer resident of this section, aged 53 died at 12:45 am Wednesday at his residence in Binghamtown. The funeral will be conducted from the residence Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Dr. Earle officiating. The remains will be interned in Colson cemetery. Mr. Byrd was for many years a merchant at Binghamtown and about four months ago in a runaway, his buggy was overturnedand his hip was fractured. From this accident he was confined in the Evans hospital in Middlesboro from which he was discharged after six weeks. Mr. John Byrd, the grocer of Middlesboro is a son of the deceased who is survived by several other relatives.
