Harlan Woman Funeral Held
Mrs. Daisy Byrd Warren, 33, wife of Bill Warren of Harlan, died yesterday at 2:45 p.m. at the Tom Bull home where she had been visiting the past week. Mrs. Warren had been in ill health for some time. The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Binghamtown Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Treece of Knoxville, assisted by the paster of the Mary Helen, Ky., Baptist Church, in charge. Interment will be in the Middlesboro cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Warren are her husband, four daughters, Virginia, Chloeva, Bowma (Bronwin) and Billie Jean; two sons Jack Edward and Elmer all of Harlan; three brothers, Doyle Byrd, city, Cam Byrd, Oklahoma, and five sisters, Mrs. Harry Ely (Mary Elizabeth), Mrs. Tom Bull (Mandy Cordelia), Mrs. Rhoda Runion, and Mrs. John Cawood (Mattie Lee), Middlesboro, and Mrs. A.J. Leedy (Jennie Campbell), Graves Creek, Ky. Active pallbearers will be Dade Davis, Dorsey Jackson, James Evans, Jim Collingsworth, John Sproles and Homer Bull.
