Jennie Elizabeth (Swartz) Stahl was born a twin, one who died at birth, to Peter William and Henrietta Rosetta (Gault) Swartz. She married Mahlon Stahl on December 29, 1925 in St. Louis, Gratiot Co., MI. Together they had six girls and one boy. Mahlon "Mike" Deane Stahl passed away September 10, 1998 in Red Bluff, CA and Peggy Joan (Stahl) Gloden, passed away in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., MI on October 2, 2002. Jennie died at local hospital in Lansing, Michigan due to breast cancer at the age of 47.
