Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church, Pierz, at ten, Tuesday morning for Mary Kubitschek, 81, with interment in the Pierz cemetery. Rev. Robert Voigt officiated at the services. The rosary was recited at the Virnig Funeral Home at 8:30, Monday evening. She passed away at 6 a.m., Saturday, at St. Gabriel's hospital.
She was born in Agram township, January 16, 1877 and moved to Pierz in 1912, where she lived continuously.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. John Gross of Lastrup, Mrs. Katherine Tschida and Anna Kubitschek of Pierz, and a foster sister, Mrs. Agnes Pretzer of St. Paul.
Pallbearers were five nephews, John W. Gross, Henry Gross, Reinhard Gross, Herman Gross, Frank Gross, and Henry Meyer.
Honorary pallbearers were: Mrs. Albert Meyer, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Mrs. Martha Jamma, Mrs. Gertrude Walz, Mrs. Peter J. Girtz, and Mrs. Ann Rauch.
