Funeral services for Ted I. STEPHENS, 90, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, with Revs. Carl Page and Terry Guthrie officiating. Burial was in Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Oct 15, 1912, in Shiloh community, to Oscar Louis STEPHENS and Mattie (STEWART) STEPHENS. He died Thursday, July 24, 2003, in Sallisaw. He married Madie A. TIMMERMAN on Dec. 23, in McKey. Survivors include his wife Madie STEPHENS of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patsy and J.C., Joyce and Connie and Steve; two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Sylvia, and Steve and John ; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine, Geraldine and Kathryn; three brothers, Elbert, J. D. and Sterling; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and other relatives and friends.
