Thomas Henry Latimer, second son of James K. and Sarah (McLin) (Ebright) Latimer, was born on a farm near Mayetta, Jackson County, Kansas. He moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1896, finally settling on the farm at Latimer Corner, four miles south of Foss, Washita County, Ok.

He never married, but resided with his parents and worked as a farm laborer, traveling with a threshing crew during the summers.

He passed from this life due to an automobile accident near Hobart, Kiowa County, OK. He was survived by his parents, three sisters, Ella Black and Myrtle Smith, both of Lexington, OK, and Louise Latimer, of the home and by two brothers, Guy Latimer of Canute, OK and Kirk Latimer, of Foss, OK. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held in the home and interment was in Page Cemetery, south of Foss, Washita County, OK.
