He passed from this life due to an automobile accident near Hobart, Kiowa County, OK. He was survived by his parents, three sisters, Ella Black and Myrtle Smith, both of Lexington, OK, and Louise Latimer, of the home and by two brothers, Guy Latimer of Canute, OK and Kirk Latimer, of Foss, OK. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the home and interment was in Page Cemetery, south of Foss, Washita County, OK.
