KOUTS--Chauncey E. Birky, 86, of Greencroft Nursing Home, Goshen, formerly of Kouts, died Tuesday in the nursing home. Survivors include his wife, Lelah (Kauffman); a daughter, Joyce Oury of Valparaiso; a son, Marston of Wakarusa; and two brothers, Ralph of Kouts and Arthur of Florida. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hopewell Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kosanke Funeral Home.
