Mrs. Laura Minerva (Ramsey) Wible, wife of Guy Wible, Meadow Gap, Springfield Twp, passed away at her home on Thursday evening, April 3, 1947 at 9 o'clock, after an extended illness. She was born in Springfield Twp, July 4, 1888, daughter of Chalmers B. and Anzanetta (Lane) Ramsey. In addition to her husband, she leaves to mourn her passing to 3 daughters and 1 son: Lottie (Mrs. Walter Grove), Orbisonia, Isabella (Mrs. John Rodgers), Youngstown, OH; Catherine (Mrs. Arthur Leader), New Cumberland; and William C. Wible, Youngstown, OH. There are 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Bertha Berlin; Mrs. Emma Hughes; and Leo Ramsey, all of Harrisburg; Howard Ramsey, Robertsdale; Alda Brown, Maddensville; Luther Ramsey, Round Rock, TX; and Mrs. Nayrue Woodruff, Washington DC. The deceased was a kind and loving mother and friend and will be sadly misssed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon, 2 o'clock, in the Church of God at Walnut Grove. The Rev Joseph Miller, Carlisle Church of God, will officiate, assisted by the Rev Richard Meyers, pastor of Saltillo Baptist Church. A short prayer service will be held at the Wible home at 1 o'clock on Sunday. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery by Ott's Funeral Service. Friends may call at the Wible home in Meadow Gap until the hour of service.
