September 20, 1848, she was married to Rev. Streator Humiston, a Wesleyan minister, who died about a year later, at Sandusky Ohio. On May 20, 1852 she was again married to Dr. S. H. Albertson, for children being the result of this union, two sons and two daughters, viz: Harry, who died in infancy, Samuel, now living at home, Mrs. Eva Kuder, of Akron and Mrs. Lillian Thayer, of Montvale.
The deceased was highly respected by all who knew her, a devoted Christian wife and mother will be sadly missed at home and in the community. Funeral services were held from her late residence on Saturday, at 11 AM, conducted by Rev. A. C. Corfman of Granger M. E. Church of which she was a member. A large number of friends and relatives attending. Interment at the center cemetery. A husband three children and aged father, one sister and one other relative are left to mourn their loss.

An autopsy was held over the remains of Mrs. S. H. Albertson, by Dr. Smith, and showed that death was caused by a cancerous affection of the pancreas.
