My paternal grandmother, who was a niece of Johnie Bertha Bennett, but was only five years old when this child passed away in 1905, scribbled in a handwritten note on this child (in one of the two books) which was written as follows: "engaged to Lee Henry, John Rose's uncle"
John R. Rose married Johnie's sister Lillie Elzenia Bennett in Feb. 1905 (same year Johnie passed away).
