Roy Berry, Hyde Park, Dies at 48
Roy Berry, 48, of Hyde Park, died yesterday afternoon at 3 in Westmoreland County Hospital, Greensburg, following an illness of about 11 days.
He was born Feb. 4, 1903, in Dennison, Ohio, but had lived most of his life in Hyde Park. He was a son of Fred and Rena Smail Berry.
He leaves his widow and 11 children and the following brothers and sisters: Francis, William, Lewis and Mrs. Helen Cooper, all of Hyde Park; Mrs. Catherine Beatty and Milton Berry, both of Kelly Station; Ted, of Gilpin Township; Harold of Newport, Ky., and Mrs. Edna Almes of Cleveland.
Friends are being received in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Leechburg, where services will be held Wednesday afternooon at 2 with Rev. Guy M. Wilson, pastor of Forks Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
