Lakewood, Ohio - Mrs. George (Edna) Almes, 75, of 2011 Atkins Ave., Lakewood, died Thursday in her home. She has two daughters living in Monroe.
Funeral services will be held Monday in the Corrigan Funeral Home, Lakewood, with the Rev. J. Robert Ensign of Christ Lutheran Church, Monroe, officiating. BUrial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, LaSalle.
Born June 14, 1901, in Hyde Park, Pa., she was the daughter of Fred and Rena Berry. She married George R. Almes Sept. 30, 1920, in Wellsburg, W. Va.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shelby (Virginia) Carter and Mrs. Lucille Elliott, both of Monroe; a son, Wilbur R. Almes of Lakewood; a sister; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
