A Bridgeville Man Falls from a Go-Cart and Dies

Oscar Case, living near Bridgeville, was found dead on the road near the residence of James Dutcher, on Wednesday evening. He had fallen from a go-cart that he was driving and when found by Mr. Dutcher was lifeless. Young Case, who was about twenty-five years of age, left his home but a short time prior to his death in perfect health, and was on his way to Morris Rundle's store at Rock Hill, where he was to do some trading. He leaves a wife and two children. An inquest will be held by Coroner Hoyt, today (Friday) at 9 a.m. at his father's home. He was a healthy man to all appearances, and we believe a temperate man.

DIED OF HEART DISEASE

Oscar Case, of Rock Hill, as found dead in the road near the home of James Dutcher, on Wednesday, March 29, at about 5:45 p.m.

Mr. Case left home as well to all appearance as he had been for the past winter. He had been ailing for more than two years, but had given himself very little attention until last fall when he became unable to work, he then called on a doctor who told him that he had heart disease and charged him to be very careful of himself.

His age was 37 years, 8 months, 22 days.

He was the son of Henry W. and Deborah J. Case of Rock Hill, who survives him; he also leaves a wife and two small children, seven brothers and two sisters, namely: Virgil R., of Brooklyn; Wallace W., of Oakland Valley; Sanford D., Blake M., and Mrs. Geo. H. Jones, of Rosell, N.J., Charles J., Horton W., Leverett E., and Kate H. at home

His sister Mrs. Jones was not present at the funeral on account of the illness of her daughter.

The deceased lived in Brooklyn for a number of years, where his brothers and he were engaged in the building business. While there he met and married Miss Bella Robinson. In the spring of 1894, he returned to Sullivan county, and settled near the home of his parents where he has since resided. He was honest in his dealing with his fellow men, a dutiful son and a kind and loving husband and father; his los will be mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held in the Rock Hill church Sunday, and he was buried in the Rock Hill cemetery.
