Horton Case, 58, a farmer ans saw mill owner of Rock Hill, died Wednesday night at his home from heart disease. He had been ill for more than a year. He was the son of the late Henry Case, one of the early settlers at the Hackledam section and was born on the old homestead there.
For several years Horton Case had been engaged in farming and also ran a saw mill on his farm where he did considerable business in custom sawing.
He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Laura [Elnora] Page, of Westbrookville. Five brothers and two sisters also survive, Sanford and Blake of Rock Hill; Charles, of Port Jervis; Verge, of Jersey City; and Lovett [Leverett], whose address is unknown; Katie Case, who is a school teacher in Honolulu; Blanche Jones, residing at Toms River, New Jersey.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) at the Rock Hill M. E. Church, at 2 o'clock, in charge of undertakers Terwilliger and Woolsey, of Port Jersey. Burial will be made in Rock Hill cemetery.
