FORMER NEWARK MAN SUCCUMBS SUDDENLY
Thornville, Dec. 8 - David A. Stoops, 75, former resident of Newark, died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in his home in Thornport.
He had been in failing health, the result of a heart ailment of some time and collapsed Tuesday in the yard of his home.
A resident of Thornport the past year, he is survived by one brother, Charles W. Stoops of the home.
The body is at the D.L. Baker funeral home where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. William A. Moore. Burial will be made in the Lutheran and Reformed cemetery.
