GEORGE A. SNYDER

George Arthur Snyder, 67, of Lyons, Colo., formerly of Des Moines, died Nov. 9 in Longmont, Colo., hospital of injuries he suffered in an automobile accident.

Mr. Snyder was head of the music department at the Des Moines Public Library from 1949 until he moved to Colorado in 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Esther, two brothers, the Rev. Rex Douglas of Lyons and James of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a brother, Corwin S. Snyder of Grand Forks, N.D.; and a sister, Mary Aljean Little of Grimes.

Services were Nov 14 in Colorado.

Proceeding him in death was his sister Helen (Snyder) Booton’s and his parents
