Miss Thelma A. Mattingly, 87, of Knottsville Nursing Home, died Monday, January 14, 1985 at Hillcrest Health Center, Owensboro. She was born in Daviess County; was a retired sales clerk at Stewart's Department Store, Louisville; and was a member of St. William Catholic Church, Knottsville and the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include a nephew, Joseph A. Dittman of Louisville; three nieces, Marjorie Waters and Annette Virden, both of Louisville, and Loretta Grose, of Clarksville, Ind.; and several cousins, including the Rev. Joseph Rhodes of Owensboro.
Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, Knottsville. Burial in the church cemetery, Knottsville.
