ST. CHARLES, IDAHO-Elgie (Geeg) Pugmire Garner, 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2008 surrounded by her family at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, Idaho.

She was born May 23, 1925 to LaMont and Myrtle Pugmire in St. Charles, Idaho. She married LeRoy Duane Garner on November 18, 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple. To this union were born three children, Nick (Elaine) of Sandy, UT; Van L. (Cindy) of St. Charles, ID; and DeAnn (Mark) Wittle of Salt Lake City, UT; seven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, four brothers, Junior of St. Charles; Averill (Maurine) of San Diego, CA; William (LuWana) of St. Charles; Jaren (Toni) of St. Charles; two sisters, Darleen (Dale) King of West Point, UT; and Nadine (Gloyd) Sprouse of Garden City, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane, her parents, and one sister-in-law, Ada Pugmire.

Funeral Services will be held Tues., May 20, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the St. Charles LDS Chapel, where Friends may visit with the Family that morning from 10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Interment will be in the Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, Utah.
