Aaron Elijah Holt,-89, 871 N 400 W., Provo, died this morning at the Eldred Center of causes incident to age.
He was born Nov. 20, 1877, in Mountain Meadows, Iron County, to William Alma and Sarah Wardel Holt.

He married Pheby Ann Cook, Aug. 24, 1898. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died Oct. 7, 1952. Mr. Holt was a sheep herder and later a fanner. His live all his life in Utah.

A member of the LDS Church he held the office of presiding elder In the Sunday School, He was a Sunday School teacher while he lived in Springville.

Survivors include five daughters and four sons, Mrs. Levlinia Hunt, Caldwell, Ida., Mrs. Arnold (Mabel) Mlckelson, Mesa Ariz.; Mrs. Evert (Melvina) Wolf, Boise, Ida.; Mrs. And (Zelepha) Taylor, Pendleton Ore.; Joseph Alma Holt, Payson; Fon C, Holt, Renton Wash.; Ray C. Holt of Ogden and Roy C. Holt of Provo; 34 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Two children Oivilla Holt and Aaron Glen Holt preceded Mr. Holt in death.

Funeral services are pending from Olpln-Sundberg Mortuary in Orem.
