Suggested edit: Norman Monroe Borcius of Cottage Hill, Pa., died at his home Monday, April 24, 1933. He was aged 57 years and his death was due to cancer of the brain. He was a son of Elijah and Rachel (Himes) Brocious. The deceased is survived by his widow and 10 children, Carl, of Canton, O.; Clifford, Firman, Gerald, Virginia, Annie, Darrell, Twila, Marie, Phyllis, and Vernice, all at home. Three children are dead. Four brothers: W. I. of Jamestown, N. Y.; G. H. of Brookville; C. C. of Vandergrift and Merle of Mayport; and two sisters, Mrs. Grant Sayers of Redbank and Mrs. John Ferringer of New Bethlehem, also survive. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran Church at Shannondale at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday, April 26 and were conducted by Rev. Kenneth Cornell. Interment was in the Shannondale Cemetery.
