Janie Ealy, age 76, of Mascot, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church. Janie was employed by Walmart for 15 years. Her most important job was being a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will always be remembered as being their "Rock."


She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ealy; parents, Samuel and Mattie Braden; grandson, Jason Campbell; sister, Geneva Johnson and brothers, Donald, Ernest, Fred, Frank and Lindsey.


Janie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Ealy; daughter, Pam King; son, Chris (Anita) Ealy; grandkids, Kayla Campbell, Erin Hurst; sisters, Frances Waddell, Mozella Wallace; brother, Clyde Braden; nieces; nephews; special friend, Joyce Ealy and her dog, Cocoa.


The family would like to express their appreciation to UT Hospital 7th Floor for their wonderful care.


Family and friends will meet Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Roseberry Cemetery, 2920 Roseberry Rd. Mascot for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Larry Day.
