CATHERINE M. BATTCHER, 59, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday at Norton Pavilion. She was the former Catherine Spalding and a native of Lebanon, KY. Catherine was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Mary, KY. She was a former Avon representative and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Battcher; a daughter, Deborah Battcher; a son, David and his wife, Jill Battcher; four sisters, Sarah Abell, Florence Spalding, Mary A. Schneider of Gainesville, GA and Sister Rita Spalding, SCN of Chattanooga, TN; and a brother, Joseph M. Spalding. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop. Burial: St. Charles Cemetery, St. Mary. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son-Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hospice of Louisville.
